Notes and reminders on WhatsApp
Message your Notita number on WhatsApp and the message becomes a note in the app: titled, tagged and dated by the AI. No bot commands to learn. On Premium, Notita messages you back before a note is due.
Updated November 3, 2026
Link your number once
Open Settings → WhatsApp in the app, enter your phone number and send the one-time code you see there from WhatsApp to the Notita number. The code is tied to the number that sends it, so nobody else can link your phone. From then on, anything you send to that number is yours.
What you can send
Anything WhatsApp lets you type or attach.
Text
A line, a list, a pasted link. A list becomes a checklist.
Voice notes
Hold the mic in WhatsApp as usual. Notita transcribes it in the language you spoke and keeps the text, not the audio.
Photos
A photo with or without a caption. The picture stays in the note; the AI reads it for the title and tags.
What comes back
The note appears in the app within a few seconds with a title, the right tags from your library and, if you mentioned one, a due date. Nothing comes back in the chat unless you ask for it, so your WhatsApp stays quiet.
Wrote “dentist Tuesday 10:30”? The note is due Tuesday at 10:30, tagged the way you tag health things.
Reminders in the chat
On Premium, WhatsApp works in the other direction too.
Before it is due
A message a little before a note's due time, with the note's title and a link that opens it.
The morning digest
One message each morning with the day's tasks, so you start with the list in your pocket.
Ask for a note (coming soon)
Reply in the chat to get a note's text back when you are away from the app.
The free limit
The Free plan includes 10 WhatsApp notes a month; Pro and Premium are unlimited. During the beta the limit is not applied. Once it is, the eleventh message gets a short reply saying the free notes are used up, with a link to upgrade. The message is not lost: it is still in your WhatsApp and you can paste it into the app. The count resets on the 1st.
Privacy
Your messages travel from WhatsApp to Notita over the WhatsApp Business API and are stored only as notes, encrypted at rest. Voice audio is discarded after transcription. Notita never reads your other chats and never messages your contacts.
