Question 1

What is Notita?

Accepted Answer

Notita (notita.ai, also written Notita AI, formerly Noto) is a note-taking app with AI for notes, to-dos and reminders. You write, speak, add a photo or send a WhatsApp message; Notita gives the note a title, tags and a due date and reminds you when it is due. It runs in the browser and installs on iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows, in seven languages.

Question 2

Who makes it?

Accepted Answer

Notita is independently built and run. The people who make it read hi@notita.ai.

Question 3

Which languages does the app come in?

Accepted Answer

English, Spanish, French, German, Hebrew, Italian and Portuguese. Hebrew runs right-to-left. Notes themselves can be in any language.

Question 4

Which devices does it run on?

Accepted Answer

Any phone, tablet or computer with a modern browser. Install it from the browser for a home-screen icon and offline use; there is nothing to get from an app store.

Question 5

How do I link WhatsApp?

Accepted Answer

Settings → WhatsApp: enter your number, then send the one-time code shown there to the Notita number from WhatsApp. The code is bound to the number that sends it.

Question 6

Can I link more than one phone?

Accepted Answer

One WhatsApp number per account. You can change it in Settings.

Question 7

My message did not become a note.

Accepted Answer

Check that it was sent from the linked number, directly to the Notita number and not in a group. Once paid plans are on, the reply in the chat also tells you when the month's free notes are used up.

Question 8

How do WhatsApp reminders work?

Accepted Answer

On Premium, Notita messages you before a note's due time, and sends a morning digest of the day's tasks if you turn it on in Settings.

Question 9

Can I unlink WhatsApp?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in Settings → WhatsApp. Notes already saved stay.

Question 10

Does Notita read my other chats?

Accepted Answer

No. It only receives messages sent to its own number.

Question 11

How do I record a voice note?

Accepted Answer

Tap the mic in the composer, speak, tap again. The text appears in the note; the audio is discarded.

Question 12

Which languages can it transcribe?

Accepted Answer

Dozens, including Hebrew. Set the languages you speak in Settings → Voice recording for the best results.

Question 13

How many minutes do I get?

Accepted Answer

60 a month on Free, unlimited on Pro and Premium.

Question 14

Where do the tags come from?

Accepted Answer

From your own tag library. The AI picks the tags that fit and only adds a new one when nothing does.

Question 15

How do I correct a tag?

Accepted Answer

Open the note, tap Fix tags, swap or remove a tag, or thumb a tag up or down. The AI remembers.

Question 16

Can I rename or merge tags?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from the Tags page. Merging moves every note to the surviving tag.

Question 17

Why did it pick a date?

Accepted Answer

The note mentioned one: “tomorrow”, “Friday”, “the 12th at 10”. Edit the note to change or remove it.

Question 18

What is About you?

Accepted Answer

A few facts in Settings, in your words, that help the AI file your notes: who the people in your notes are, what you do, where you live. It is encrypted like a note.

Question 19

How do I share a note?

Accepted Answer

Open the note, tap Share, choose a friend and whether they can edit. The note appears in their feed.

Question 20

How do I add a friend?

Accepted Answer

Friends → Add, by email; they accept the request. If they do not have Notita yet, they get an email invitation.

Question 21

Can we comment on a shared note?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every shared note has a short comment thread under it.

Question 22

Is my data encrypted?

Accepted Answer

Note text and the About you facts are encrypted before they are stored; nobody at Notita can read them in the clear.

Question 23

Is my voice stored?

Accepted Answer

No. Audio is discarded right after transcription.

Question 24

Are my notes used to train AI?

Accepted Answer

No. They are processed to file them, and never used for training.

Question 25

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

From Settings, Delete account removes your notes, tags and profile. You can also write to hi@notita.ai.

Question 26

What is free?

Accepted Answer

The whole app except Insights, plus 10 WhatsApp notes and 60 voice minutes a month. During the beta, everything is free.

Question 27

What does Pro add?

Accepted Answer

Unlimited WhatsApp notes and voice minutes, and Insights. $4.99 a month or $49 a year.

Question 28

What does Premium add?

Accepted Answer

Everything in Pro plus WhatsApp reminders, the morning digest and asking for a note in the chat (coming soon). $7.99 a month or $79 a year.

Question 29

How do I cancel?

Accepted Answer

From Settings → Plan & billing. The plan runs until the end of the period you paid for.
